This is my first tattoo, they were both very helpful on various designs. Their shop was inviting, very clean and professional. I picked a design, Adam did the work, and even suggested on addition to it. No pressure what so ever, and it turned out great. If you are in Maui and want a tattoo, even for the first time, this is the place.

I would highly recommend Sweet Trade Tattoo. Was on vacation and my sister and I were thinking of getting our first tattoo. Stopped in at their shop and talked a bit with Adam. He explained what we needed to do. Left the shop and we decided we were going to get a tattoo so I emailed them and he Got back to me right away and he said I needed to come down to the shop and put a deposit down and talk about what tattoo we would like. We went a few days later got the tattoos done by Siobhan. Siobhan did a great job. They were great in explaining the aftercare. If I do go back again to Maui and decide I want another tattoo I would definitely go back here.

I can't speak highly enough of Adam, Athena and Siobhan at Sweet Trade Tattoo. They are great people and great artists. Adam did my tattoo and he is patient and really loves his craft. Siobhan is Adam's daughter and did my wife's tattoo, and she is equally amazing. I highly recommend if you are looking for a great tattoo and a great experience while in Maui that you go visit the family shop at Sweet Trade Tattoo.

My family and I vacationed this week in Maui. My husband, sister, and I each decided to get a tattoo to celebrate our family’s time together, as well as our time spent in beautiful Hawaii. We found Sweet Trade Tattoos just up the street from our hotel. Siobhan did all three of our tattoos and we couldn’t be happier with our experience and the quality of work we received. I wanted something delicate and feminine and came away with a beautiful pink flowering hibiscus on my forearm. It was exactly what I hoped it would be. The shop was clean, and Siobhan was the ultimate professional who worked patiently and meticulously. I like the calm atmosphere she created and appreciated her light touch. I never thought I could almost fall asleep while getting a tattoo but it was that comfortable. I can’t recommend Siobhan enough. She was wonderful.

From the moment you walk in, the shop feels welcoming and comfortable. It’s a family-run business, which really shows in the atmosphere and how they treat people. My understanding is that Adam has been tattooing for 30+ years. His wife runs the front desk, and his daughter, Siobhan Hammon, is also one of the artists. I worked with Siobhan on a Hawaiian islands tattoo on my bicep. She was polite, professional, and ready to get to work. They were also great about working with my schedule. I was able to put a deposit down the day before, and everything was smooth and straightforward. They provided very detailed aftercare instructions and even shared some helpful information I didn’t know about numbing options and the healing process. I followed the instructions exactly, and the tattoo healed quickly. I also want to give a special shoutout to Adam. Whether he’s the sole owner or part of the ownership team, I don’t want to misspeak, but his presence alone made the visit feel worth it. He clearly cares about his clients and represents the industry in a really positive way. Thank you for a great experience and for an awesome birthday gift from my wife. Until next time. MAHALO!!! 🌺🤙
