Walked in and got my flat pierced. I didn’t wait very long, and the piercing itself was quick and easy.The piercer gave me lots of information and the aftercare instructions were clear. The only thing I note is, I wish the jewelry in the cases was labeled with prices so it would be easier to know what was in my price range. Lots of selection though and hoping to go back for a change out in a month.

10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for piercings, and from what I saw while waiting, tattoos as well. Every staff member I encountered was kind, patient, and went above and beyond to make a good experience. I also saw the same for other customers being helped while I was waiting. I would like to add the good experience started with my first initial phone call to ask for availability to get a piercing, the woman on the phone set the mood for the place and she is what made me choose to spend my money here. I called over 20 other places in the state of Maine and most, if not all, I was met with a bad experience over the phone, but this place was the only one that stood out for their kindness and helpfulness. The environment is professional and clean, with beautiful artwork on the walls and overall an environment others around should strive to have for their own shop. A huge thank you to this establishment, you all should be more than proud of the work you’re doing. You get your moneys worth and more with this place, you won’t regret it!

I have been to true north tattoo’s many, many times over the last few years, not only to be tattooed by Garreth, but also to get multiple piercings. Every time it’s been a wonderful experience! They truly have something for everyone. All the artists care about the quality of work they put out into the world and bring such good vibes to the space… Speaking of space, this shop is clean, big and beautiful. There’s no better place to go for your body modification needs in central Maine.

My son and I went for piercings together for his birthday. We both had cat. Nothing new for my son, he has multiple piercings, but me not so much, had my brow pierced years ago in my teens and ended up passing out. I informed cat of this and at no point did she ever make me feel bad, she offered me everything she could to help me including time to stay in the chair after. She also made sure to explain everything she was doing in the moment, and when I told her to " just go" she made sure thats what I wanted and she did. End result no fainting with a great piercings. Thanks cat!

Great experience with Leo yesterday. He was able to set up my family for some tattoos, all matching to commemorate our history. He was friendly, and had some really good artwork. The design he did for us was outstanding with smooth crisp lines and vibrant color. He was able to do all this relatively last minute as well, which was a huge benefit as there were 5 of us for him to tattoo. All in all, I don’t think a better experience would have been possible. Thanks Leo!!!
